In addition, junior counselors are made up of area high school and junior high school students. They help the senior staff and directors, as needed. Counselors are encouraged to play games with campers and have fun!
A lifeguard and at least one counselor is present with each group in the pool each day. Many times there is also a junior counselor who swims with each group. The youngest campers typically also have an additional counselor in the water. There is a baby pool with warm water for the youngest campers to ease nervous beginning swimmers and to help warm them up.
